In this busy schedule, La Venta brings a contribution. The projection of a documentary on climatic change seen during the exploration of the glaciers in Patagonia, the historic presentation of the activities of the association in Mexico starting from 1991, when the men who would become later the founders of La Venta began a long journey of discovery, exploration and popularization and finally the presentation of the book “Cueva del Rio La Vebnta- an Underground Dream” with the related project of management of the access to the cavity (see www.cuevariolaventa.info).
A small contribution in this land that see us so involved on many fronts. Not last a sustainable development of the community where we operate. A commitment growing every year and involving more and more people from Europe, Mexico and other Latin contries. But what impresses us more is the growth of speleology in this continent. A qualitative, not only quantitative growth. Issues the often the speleologies of more historically developed countries hardly take into consideration in a way so serious and committed. Protection, law, documentation, scientific research. In this fields we are here to learn.
