A lot, and mainly in Dark Star.
After placing 2 internal camps at -400 and -800, while some teams have explored new miles of meander, others, through long dropps from the top of the Plateau, have jointed the cave system with R20. Now the inputs of Dark Star are 7, for a development of more than 13 km and a depth of over 900 m. Still there are several miles to survey, especially in the new meander at -700, which promises important developments. Explored for about a mile and full of cold air, it takes back to mind the infamous meander of Bulok Boy, one of the most difficult caves on the planet (-1430) which opens into the wounds of the mountain in front of Baysun Tau, the Chol Bair.
Speaking of Boy Bulok, in the last days of expedition, two Russians cave divers have explored the resurgence, which opens near the village of Dumbalò, going for about 50 meters in very large galleries, even here the work has just initiated.
Have been three weeks experienced heavy all in one breath, indeed, often lacked even that, since we have always worked at more than 3000 meters above sea level. The project continues to grow assuming more and more international contours, collaboration with Russian tanks is perfect, even if wrapped setting and cultural differences emerge all, but as a dear friend told me recently: just do not obstaculate each each other and do wonderful things.
