The first day we equip the training walls in the "Arco" and in the afternoon the course begins with the theorical lessons. In the patio we set a classroom with a projector and a screen, useful to introduce the students to geology. A particular attention is dedicated to the knowledge of the local territory rich in caves, partly unexplored, and to the necessity to preserve it and to promote the reforestation.
The second day is dedicated to the practical lessons, to familiarize with the speleo equipment. It's not easy to follow 15 students that, after a fist moment of embarrassment, climb up and down the ropes like grasshoppers! Someone, exhausted, allow himself a sleep.
We keep on equipping new ways also for mountain climbing. The holds must be cleaned with appropriate tools: scrubber kindly offered by Janette, Don Poli's wife, incredulous.At the end of this long day we are all excited and happy with the result, but the best is still to come...tomorrow we're going inside the cave!
